Fire And Ice Dragons

Dragons dominate the fairy world

There are four types of dragons described in fantasy stories - fire dragons, ice dragons, water dragons and earth dragons.

All four types appear in the figurines. There are very few water and earth dragons - but lots of fire and ice dragons...

Fire Dragons

Fire dragons are powerful creatures and can be very aggressive.

The dragons project a stream of deadly liquid fire that incinerates everything in its path.

The video above left shows the huge Fraener fire dragon, starting in the original pose of the figurine and then animated using AI.

We have seen loads of dragon figurines over the years - and in our opinion, Fraener is the most stunning dragon figurine ever released. This figurine is still available to buy.

Ice Dragons

Ice dragons are gentle and affectionate creatures. They make good companions and bodyguards - but they will fight alongside their mistresses, if the need arises.

Ice dragons usually have thinner heads than fire dragons - and shoot bolts of ice that instantly freeze their target.

Most ice dragons in the figurines are white - but they can be any colour (even red or black).

The images above right shows Jasmeena with her ice dragon companion Daylight - and Talanoa with her ice dragon companion Tallis (in the Trusted Friends figurine). Both figurines are retired, but there are current figurines in similar poses.

Dragons Serpents

Dragon Serpents (also called Wyrms) are strange looking creatures with a long snake like body and a dragon head.

They cannot fly and cannot project fire or ice. But they make excellent guards for camps and compounds.

Dragon Serpents can sense the slightest vibration of the ground, so they are able to detect an approaching enemy a long way away.

They move almost silently, able to sneak up on an intruder. Once cornered, an intruder has little hope of escaping the serpents crushing embrace and savage jaws.

The figurine below is called Guardians Embrace, featuring Greta with her serpent companion. This large figurine is retired - but there is still a small version available.
